Windows Vista, Windows 7 - Delay Before Sound Plays
If you are a Windows Vista or Windows 7 user and you are experiencing a delay before sound plays or sound skipping, this is not a
Sudoku Up issue, but could be a Sound Card drivers / configuration problem.
You can try to solve the problem enabling "Use DirectSound" in
Sudoku Up doing the following:
1. Run
Sudoku Up,
2. Click on "Tools" on the toolbar,
3. Choose "Options"; then
in the left pane, "click Sounds",
4. Check "Use DirectSound" checkbox.
Or, if the problem persists after
having enabled the DirectSound, try the following:
1. Click Start - Control Panel - Sound,
2. Right click on the Speaker/Headphones icon and choose properties,
3. Click on the "enhancements" tab,
4. Select the "Disable all enhancements" check box,
5. When finished, restart the PC.
